LLOYD - "Last Line of Your Defense"
High Temperature Shut-Off valve - temperature sensitive device installed on the outlet of a “steam & water” mixing valve. As water temperatures fluctuate due to changes in water pressure, steam pressure, operator error or mechanical failure, this thermostatically controlled safety valve insures tight shut-off when temperatures exceed the predetermined set point. The LLOYD is available with thermostats of 160°F, 180°F and 195°F degrees. Note: This valve will automatically reset upon cooling. LLOYD is available in brass or stainless steel and works with all brands of steam & water mixing valves.
